Since taking our business online a few months ago, we've gotten quite a few requests for large cubes -- some as big as fifteen inches. We recently made our biggest fake ice cubes yet. The two shown here (with a small child for scale) were 3 and 4 inch cubes. The 4 inch cube is the largest we can make by hand -- anything bigger would have to be a custom molded acrylic piece.

More Changes
It's been a while since we posted last. Things are happening at Lead Salad. We upgraded our credit card processing to Authorize.net. Paying by credit card has never been easier on out site - you now have more ways to pay: PayPal; mail a check, credit card number, or money order; or pay with Visa, Mastercard or American Express right on the site!
We're also working on two new projects. We get a lot of questions about our handmade acrylic ice cubes from people all over the world. One question is: Do they float? The answer is unfortunately they do not float. We're working on a solution to that problem however. Can't give out any details right now, but it's going to be revolutionary. The second most commonly asked question is: Your cubes are expensive, do you have a cheaper alternative? We soon will. We're exploring our options to carry both inexpensive molded plastic cubes from another supplier and to make molded versions of our handmade cubes. We'll update this blog, our FaceBook page, and FakePlasticIceCubes.com with the new items as they become available.
